Endometriosis Awareness Month - March, 2026

The Council presented a Proclamation declaring the month of March to be Endometriosis Awareness Month.

Retirement - Michael Henry

On March 3, 2026, the Council presented a Commendation to Michael Henry, congratulating him on his retirement from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

Public Safety Telecommunicators Week - April 12, 2026

The Council presented a proclamation declaring April 12th, 2026 to April 18th, 2026, as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Dorchester County.

Teacher of the Year - Cierra Robinson

On May 7, 2026, the Council presented a commendation to Cierra Robinson to congratulate and applaud her for being named Dorchester County’s Teacher of the Year 2026-2027.

The next Dorchester County Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 110 of the County Office Building, 501 Court Lane, Cambridge, MD 21613.
