The Department of Emergency Services seeks a highly motivated, innovative individual to join our team as the Special Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has a progressive mindset, collaborates well, and is able to creatively solve problems. This position will plan, direct, manage, and oversee activities related to Opioid Intervention Team coordination, emergency services training and education, and the development of a mobile integrated health program. Dorchester County seeks an action-oriented self-starter, who is capable of prioritizing initiatives, setting clear goals and expectations, and providing reports on outcomes. The ideal candidate uses logic, data, and metrics to inform and support decisions. Balancing the needs of the County, the department, and the community, the Special Operations Manager builds strong business cases and reasonable arguments in order to influence decisions.
